Freedom

Currently there are countless resources available on how to “manage your emotions, stress, circumstances, etc.” But just managing life is not what Jesus’ blood purchased for us. In Galatians 5:1 we see, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” It is for FREEDOM - freedom from hopelessness, anxiety, depression, anger, loneliness, eating disorders, addiction, constant fatigue, bitterness, numbness, sickness, suicidal thoughts, etc. We do not just have to hope our issues stay manageable. There is true freedom found in taking what the Word says and applying it to our lives.

The following teachings are powerful and full of life. It is strongly recommended that you work through the Foundation teachings before beginning on the Freedom teachings. There is no particular order to the Freedom teachings. If there is one you feel the Lord is highlighting, begin there. 

Remember, it is important that, once you have received freedom in an area, you renew your mind daily by meditating on scriptures that reenforce your area of freedom. Striving and "managing life” are not fruits of the Spirit. True freedom should produce greater levels of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. It is not a “striving” to make yourself be joyful. You just are. Getting to live without shame, fear, etc. naturally makes one more joyful. It’s an outward fruit of an inward freedom.
