Even Here, Light Finds You

There are places in life that feel too heavy to even explain. Moments where everything inside you feels dimmed like hope did not just leave but forgot your address. If you have walked through deep trauma especially the kind that shapes how you see yourself and the world it can feel like light is for other people and not for you.

But one of the quiet truths about God is this darkness is never disqualifying.

He does not wait for you to clean yourself up before He comes closer. He does not stand at a distance asking you to fix what is broken first. He steps right into the places you would rather hide and says I am here with you.

You do not have to perform your way into healing. You do not have to become someone else to be loved. You come as you are tired unsure guarded honest and even a little numb and somehow that becomes the very place where His love begins to work.

Healing with God is not rushed. It is gentle. It is patient. It often starts with something as simple as receiving love when you are not used to it and learning that you do not have to earn what is already being offered to you.

And from there something begins to shift.

Not all at once. Not perfectly. But slowly you start to trust that His ways are not meant to control you but to lead you into freedom. Obedience in that place is not fear based. It becomes a response to safety to love that has proven itself trustworthy.

If you are in a dark place right now you are not overlooked. You are not beyond reach. Light does not avoid darkness. It enters it.

And it finds you even here.
